GMAPCC to hold special Annual Meeting event on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023

  Whether you are currently a member or not, we would love to have you come to this event to see what the GMAPCC has to offer for you and your company!

The doors to the beautiful Olbrich facility open at 8:30am sharp. Enter via the main lobby and proceed to the spacious Evjue Commons room.

The Annual Meeting agenda...

  • 8:30am - 8:50am: Welcome and networking
  • 8:50am - 9:20am: Full Breakfast Buffet by Cranberry Creek Catering
  • 9:20am - 9:30am: GMAPCC Award Presentations
  • 9:30am - 9:50am: USPS Wisconsin District Manager - Jeff Drake: "USPS - Delivering for America"
  • 9:50am - 10:35am: Jim Toth - Executive Creative Director at 6AM Marketing: "Pushing the Envelope: A Creative's Approach to Direct Marketing"
  • 10:35am - 11:20am: Mike Filipski - USPS: "The Business Customer Gateway and Small Business Tools"
  • 11:20am - 11:25am: Tom Diring - GMAPCC: "Save the Date - GMAPCC 11th Annual Golf Outing at The Bridges"
  • 11:25am - 11:30am: Closing remarks followed by the Bolz Conservatory visit

 Your admission includes a visit to the Bolz Conservatory! This tropical oasis will provide a welcome reprieve from the cold Wisconsin Winter as it is teeming with birds, fish, frogs, insects, geckos, and all the beautiful plants and flowers. Plus, during the month of February, the conservatory will be presenting its Orchid Escape event featuring dozens of beautiful flowering orchid varieties.

WASHINGTON — The Postal Service filed notice today with the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) for shipping services price changes to take effect July 13. The proposed adjustments were approved by the USPS Board of Governors this week.

WASHINGTON, DC — The U.S. Postal Service Board of Governors today announced that they have chosen David Steiner to be America’s 76th Postmaster General and CEO. Pending the outcome of necessary background and ethics checks, Steiner will succeed former Postmaster General Louis DeJoy, who resigned in March, and current Acting Postmaster General Doug Tulino, who will return to his permanent position as Deputy Postmaster General and Chief Human Resources Officer. We anticipate Steiner will formally join the organization in July, assuming his successful completion of the ethics and security clearance vetting processes.
